Kim and Jake- Wedding Florist, Fallbrook, Ca

When I first met with Kim, she requested fuschia dendrobium orchids in a cascading bouquet of mixed flowers.  Her vision was a lightly tropical feel with modern touches.
Lime green cymbidium orchids look wonderful with the fuschia dendrobium, as do the lisianthus, another of Kim's favorites.  Then we added fragrant stephanotis, and a fun twist of decorative wire strung with pearls to give the bouquet a contemporary flair.
She looks happy to me!
The groom's bout is also garnished with decorative wire.

The ladies in the family wore these tie-on wrist corsages with a combination of real and beaded flowers.  I added a soft yellow to the mix for the reception flowers and included hydrangea, carnations, and peruvian lily.
Votive vases hung from a tree in the garden. Some held a miniature bunch of flowers, and some a candle.
A tall colorful trumpet vase filled with limes stands in the corner of the buffet area.
Just an artful sprinkling of orchids is all that's required to finish the beautiful wedding cake.
