Twin Oaks House Wedding Flowers

Beautiful Blush and Ivory Spring Wedding

Kristin and Blake's Wedding at Twin Oaks House and Gardens

Brett Hickman Photography

Springtime was the perfect time for Kristin and Blake's blush and ivory Wedding at Twin Oaks House and Gardens in Escondido, CA.  A big thank you to Brett Hickman Photography for all the incredible photos on today's post!  Twin Oaks House is a lovely setting for a wedding, with lots of vintage touches and shady flower gardens.
Here is our lovely bride in the amazing blush gown that inspired it all!  Her bridal bouquet is full of ivory peonies, English garden roses, and feathery astilbe, with a swirl of delicate jasmine vine.  It's designed in an airy hand-gathered style, rather than a tight or structured look.

All the pretty maids in their sweet ivory dresses have large bouquets of blush peonies and English garden roses, also in a loose and lovely style!

What a gorgeous wedding party!
The groom and his men wear boutonnieres of waxflower and astilbe.

Mothers also got to wear the pretty English roses on crystal bracelets.

Sweet moments: the Bride and her mom, the Groom with his grandmother

This is the ivy hedge at Twin Oaks House which we dressed with ivory curtains and lots of hydrangeas and roses for the ceremony backdrop.  I think it turned out so pretty!  There's a crystal chandelier hanging in the center and you can see the flowered fountain in the background, and clustered lanterns along the aisle and beside the arch.

These adorable twin flowergirls were a big hit!

and here comes the bride!

I don't usually post so many pictures of the ceremony, but these photos are gorgeous!

The reception was set up under the beautiful white draped tent, and Kristin chose the venue's sweet mismatched china (I love this look!) and 2 styles of centerpieces.

The tall candlesticks were filled with tulips, roses, lots of trailing greenery and hanging crystals, and we placed shimmering silver pedestal candle holders, hydrangea, and mercury glass votives on the table below.
The antique pedestal lanterns overflowed with peonies, roses, ranunculas, and more pretty greenery.

A cascade of blooms and trios of silver candlesticks adorned the sweetheart table, and we saved plenty of Kiera roses for the beautiful wedding cake provided by Cute Cakes.

I always like the look of high and low centerpieces to fill the room with beauty!

Beautiful Kristin was so wonderful to work with because she was able to express her vision of her dream wedding to me, and was decisive about all the ideas and questions that came up.  And... she appreciated the extra little details, from the flowers on the fountain right down to the single rose at each place setting!  Isn't this a fabulous shot?

Thank you, Kristin and Blake, for trusting me with such a special day,
wishing you a future full of love and joy!
