Green Gables Wedding, Escondido

Kathryn & TJ's Wedding- Green Gables Estate, Escondido

This wedding was beautifully photographed by JoieDeVivre Photography

Kathryn and TJ were married in the San Diego LDS Temple on a gorgeous spring day, and hosted their reception at the beautiful Green Gables Estate in Escondido.
Green Gables features the historic Old Richland Schoolhouse, a charming North County landmark, as well as a large reception tent which was filled to capacity with Kat and TJ's friends and family.

The colors of choice were bright coral-orange, gray and blue, really vibrant and fun!  The bride's bouquet included roses, callas, pincushion protea, parrot tulips and ranunculas framed in dusty miller, and wrapped in calico and lace.  The bridesmaids bouquets are similar, and if you look carefully, you can see the sweet calico prints they are wrapped in!

Kat's great-grandmother was a school teacher, and she is pursuing that path as well, so Green Gables is a fitting place to celebrate family and future.  The vintage books are family treasures and there is a theme throughout the event of nostalgic childhood memories. The mother of the bride did a beautiful job with all the diy details!

Guest's signed in with an old-fashioned typewriter, and the couples gradeschool photos were hung on a clothesline along the entrance to the tent.

I love the bride and groom's silouettes hung behind the head table, and the colorful love mugs!

Each table was set with a unique grouping of books, blocks, vintage alphabet cards, and antique blue mason jars of tulips or ranunculas on a monogrammed burlap square.

Special times for a beautiful couple, and wonderful evening!

Always & Forever, Kat and TJ
