Stone Brewing Co. Wedding Flowers, San Diego

Stone Brewery and Disney Princess Wedding!

Alicia and Dave

Meet Alicia and Dave, a beautiful fun-loving couple who came to me with a definite and unique vision for their wedding! They were very excited to have booked Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens as their San Diego venue, they are definitely craft beer enthusiasts, but also wanted to make sure to include Alicia's love of Disney and all things feminine!  I think they did it just right!
Alicia's bridal bouquet was full of blush and peach garden roses, lavender roses, blushing bride protea, silver brunia and white anemonies.  It's tied with a fun scripted linen and lace ribbon, and at the last minute we attached a very special cameo brooch -- a meaningful family heirloom!
The Groom's boutonniere is made up of hops blossoms and lavender with one tiny ivory rose bud, and embellished with the iconic black and gold Stone Brewing bottle cap, wrapped with twine.

Here's gorgeous Alicia showing off the beautiful swirls and folds of her wedding gown!

The bridal party had rooms at the Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island for getting ready, where the stairway and mezzanine are fun spots for photos, thank you True Photography!
I really love how Alicia pulled off her theme, with her bridesmaids in the sweet pastels of Disney princesses, but with a definite edge!  Check out the boots! And you can't see it, but all the bouquets had a tiny "mickey mouse ears" emblem tucked into the flowers.
And the guys had their thing too, with a particular bottle cap picked out for each of their bouts, I'm assuming a favorite brand, and evidently some awesome socks, too!

(...being Best Man to your twin brother must have its surreal moments!)

Romantic San Diego Wedding Flowers

Calee and Shaun

Photography by Rachel Watson
Calee is a sweet girl whom I have had the privilege of watching grow up.  She is also a talented vocalist,  and it was a joy to be involved in her wedding!  Calee and Shaun were married on a gorgeous day in San Diego, and we got to use some of the most beautiful flowers ever!  Her bouquet was made of peach and ivory garden roses and ranunculas, pink peonies, baby's breath, and white anemones, with touches of soft gray dusty miller, how romantic!

The ceremony took place in the San Diego Temple in La Jolla
Her bridesmaids and all the little girls carried bunches of fluffy baby's breath and the men wore ranunculas with dusty miller leaves. (and very cool cardigans)

At their back-yard reception, the beautiful entry arch was decorated with lots of twigs and boughs of stock, roses and anemones.  The walkway was lined with shepherd hooks and hanging baby breath pomanders that the little girls had held earlier.
Lots of special hand-made touches were everywhere, beautifully coordinated by sister, Kristina.

Antique fabric and doilies look so sweet under the special garden roses and simple vases, each table a little bit different.

More garden roses, larkspur and anemones decked the arch over the Italian Soda station, which was a very popular spot that night!

All my reception photos were taken before the party started, but I assure you, there were crowds of happy people dancing and celebrating into the night-- a very special event for a wonderful couple!

Happy Ever After to Calee and Shaun!
