Romantic San Diego Wedding Flowers

Calee and Shaun

Photography by Rachel Watson
Calee is a sweet girl whom I have had the privilege of watching grow up.  She is also a talented vocalist,  and it was a joy to be involved in her wedding!  Calee and Shaun were married on a gorgeous day in San Diego, and we got to use some of the most beautiful flowers ever!  Her bouquet was made of peach and ivory garden roses and ranunculas, pink peonies, baby's breath, and white anemones, with touches of soft gray dusty miller, how romantic!

The ceremony took place in the San Diego Temple in La Jolla
Her bridesmaids and all the little girls carried bunches of fluffy baby's breath and the men wore ranunculas with dusty miller leaves. (and very cool cardigans)

At their back-yard reception, the beautiful entry arch was decorated with lots of twigs and boughs of stock, roses and anemones.  The walkway was lined with shepherd hooks and hanging baby breath pomanders that the little girls had held earlier.
Lots of special hand-made touches were everywhere, beautifully coordinated by sister, Kristina.

Antique fabric and doilies look so sweet under the special garden roses and simple vases, each table a little bit different.

More garden roses, larkspur and anemones decked the arch over the Italian Soda station, which was a very popular spot that night!

All my reception photos were taken before the party started, but I assure you, there were crowds of happy people dancing and celebrating into the night-- a very special event for a wonderful couple!

Happy Ever After to Calee and Shaun!

Colorful Wedding Flowers, Poway CA

San Diego Wedding Florist

The Wedding of Aubrie & Kyle

As a wedding designer, I find so much joy in helping couples express their unique personalities through their flowers, and this is a great example.  Kyle and Aubrey wanted to make sure they had time to spend with their families on their wedding day, so they took a special photo session with Pam of Savoring the Sweet Life Photography the day before.  The photos at the beach and Balboa Park show their love for their hometown and each other!

Beautiful, a little flamboyant, but still classic!... that describes Aubrey and  her bridal bouquet which is made up of blue and green hydrangea, plum colored roses, tulips, dendrobium, and green cymbidium orchids, and wrapped with a twist of iridescent plum/green silk.
Here is the bride getting ready for her special day.

They were married in the beautiful San Diego LDS Temple with family and friends in attendance...

...and the reception was held at a lovely private home in Poway.  Guests enjoyed writing their wishes for the couple on hand-made tags to hang on the crystal-laden wishing tree.

The bridesmaids bouquets echoed the style and colors of the bride's, and  the mother of the bride wore ivory cymbidium orchids.

Homemade cake and desserts were provided by the Groom's family and friends, and the table centers were decorated with fresh multicolored blossoms and photos of the couple.

The bouquet was caught by Aubrie's sister, and there was plenty of dancing!
Such a fun group, this is one of the best jumping-in-the-air photos I've seen!

Love this shot of the bouquet at sunset.  Thank you, Pam @ savoringthesweetlife.com  for the wonderful photos.  And the "sparkling sendoff" was a perfect finish to the evening!
